Keeping up to date

Giving a quality service means using the most recent, reliable, evidence-based information.  There are many ways you can keep up-to-date with the latest information including RSS feeds, email alerts and blogs.

 

Shrewsbury and Telford Health Libraries have their own blog, the Knowledge Source, which is regularly updated with any developments in library services and other useful information.  You can sign up for email updates using the sign up box on the blog, and will be alerted via email when the blog is updated.

 

The Immunisation Knowledge Hub is a pilot scheme run by the SCHT Library and Knowledge Service, which aims to keep SCHT and PCT staff up to date with the latest information and useful resources about immunisation.  It gathers together the most recent information from a variety of reliable sources including the Department of Health and various e-journals.  You can sign up for email updates from the Immunisation Hub, simply enter your email address in the subscribe box in the right hand column of the Immunisation Hub blog.

 

Shropshire Community Health Trust Library and Knowledge Service provide a current awareness service called the Library Knowledge Centre.  You can subsribe to email updates from any of the topics covered, or simply browse the latest updates on the Knowledge Centre site.  The Knowledge Centre includes a number of primary care related topics: 

To sign up for the email updates, please click on the links above and enter your email address.  You will then be sent an email asking you to confirm your subscription, click on the link in this email and you will recieve regular updates on your chosen topic.  You can unsubscribe from the email updates at any time.  For more information on the SCHT Library Knowledge Centre please contact us at library@shropcom.nhs.uk
