We are your local NHS organisation, responsible for planning and commissioning health services for everyone living in Shropshire County or registered with a Shropshire County GP.  We plan and purchase health services from providers such as GPs and hospitals.  We also lead on public health.

Community health services, like community hospitals and district nursing, are now provided by a dedicated NHS trust - Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust
